As I left dinner with a hostel roomate, we literally turned a corner and found ourselves staring at a ton of the only dark skinned people we've seen in Israel. The sign “Black Lives Matter” was the first thing I saw to rationalize what I was seeing. The Ethiopians in Israel explained to me that they are continuously discriminated against, since being brought to Israel during the Ethiopian famine of the 90's.
